Hey everyone,

How are you all? Good I hope. Things here are okay, just really tired this morning from working out most of the night, but that's a different story.. lol.

so I saw 3 movies last night... Shrek 2 again with my Dad, Mystic River and Along Came Polly, which are 3 very good movies that I would recommend to everyone!!

We went to see Shrek 2 (my dad and myself) because he was really upset about Ronald Reagan, so we wanted to take his mind off of it. My mom bought contraband food and Sprites (in the bottles) so we were watching the movie and my dad decides that he wants his drink, which is a mistake because when he opens it, it makes that fizzing sound really loud.. so he started to laugh a little bit and I tried to open mine, but the same thing happened. I put my soda on the ground and whispered to my Dad, "I'll go to the bathroom to open them up" and I picked up my purse.. not realizing that the soda was behind it, so my soda rolled ALL the way down to the bottom of the theater. I was like "oh shit.." to myself and I said "DAD!! I dropped my soda!" which made him laugh hysterically... so needless to say, I went thirsty throughout the movie, until the end when I ran down to find it, which I did. It was so funny. My dad keeps making fun of me for it.. ha ha ha.

We went to Blockbuster on Tuesday afternoon to rent movies, and we got Mystic River and Along Came Polly. Mystic River was one of those movies that I loved, even though I can't stand the actors in it.. I was like fixed into the movie, where I couldn't get up and leave for a second, or I would miss something important. Even though I can't stand Sean Penn or Tim Robbins, I can totally understand why they won Oscars for it, because their performances totally blew me away. So go see that movie, because you won't regret it!

Along Came Polly was a good movie as well.. very funny. I like Ben Stiller's movies, and that was a good one.. but my favorite movie with him in it had to be Meet the Parents. That movie just cracked me up!

So everyone, I need a favor.. please keep your fingers crossed for me... I sent in all the papers and things for St. Lukes yesterday, and I'm feeling sick to my stomach about the prospect of not getting in... because that is all I want. If I don't get in, I'll be upset, but I will be going to England for a year then to live abroad while I try to apply again. Please Dear God let me get in.. it is all I want in the world, and I'd appreciate all the good thoughts coming my way.
